Actually, we can now visit any part of Catalunya, but I've been a bit lazy this week, so these walks are all local hikes along the Cami de Ronda.
Firstly, a really nice and very easy stroll along the coast from Calella de Palafrugell to Llafranc. There are some lovely restaurants in Callella, some quite touristy and overpriced but we recommend Les Voltes for fresh seafood right on the beach with spectacular views.
After a long lazy lunch in Calella, we recommend a stroll along the seafront to Llafranc and have postres and coffees in one of the hotels on the sea front. The walk takes just 20 minutes and is suitable for all ages.
Another nice walk for the more adventurous is a 12km round trip hike from Sa Tuna along the coast from to Sa Riera and Illa Roja.
The day we walked this route was after a storm and it was cold, windy and the sea lovely and rough. A great day out to get some fresh air. The kids loved it ! They'd never seen the sea so angry.
We found a shady spot on the beach at Sa Riera and had a picnic which we recommend..... It's a lot cheaper than having a meal out and better during Covid to avoid crowded spaces. During the summer months, there are a few restaurants and bars here. Hopefully, this year we can get back to some sort of normality.
